No, we are not in the business of offering loans, insurance or credit agreements. The approved solicitor we assign to you will manage all aspects of your claim, not us. Your relationship with your solicitor will be completely independent of Claims Wizard.
Yes. Claims Wizard only handles compensation claims arising from accidents or negligence. Many of our members deal with different areas of the law; these may not be covered by the "no-win, no-fee" agreement. Your solicitor will be happy to provide you with full details.
This will depend on the circumstances of your case. A straightforward road traffic accident can be settled within months, whilst more serious injuries may take longer. Once your Solicitor has carried out initial investigations, they will be in a better position to anticipate how long it will take. You can be assured that your Solicitor will not delay your claim.
Generally, you have three years from the date of your injury to make a claim. If the accident involved a minor (under 18), the three years does not start until the minor's 18th birthday. There are other exceptions to this three-year rule, which your solicitor can explain if you send an enquiry.
Every case is different, so we assess each claim on an individual basis. If you have no case, we will tell you. It is not in your interest or ours to proceed with a case we do not feel will succeed. To get advice about your claim, send an enquiry.
In nearly all cases, clients are covered by a conditional fee agreement ("no-win, no-fee"). This will cost you nothing. Your solicitor will explain this during your initial consultation.
If our solicitors advise you that your claim is unlikely to succeed, you may withdraw and pay nothing. However, if you decide not to proceed for reasons of your own, you may be billed for all charges incurred on your behalf.
No. As a national network, we have personnel and agents all over the country. We will visit you in your home or place of work, if you wish. Alternatively we can deal with your claim entirely by telephone, post or e-mail.
Yes. Where your Solicitor feels it is appropriate, they will arrange a medical examination with an independent doctor. This appointment will be local so you will not have to travel very far to attend. You can include these travel expenses as part of your claim.
The level of compensation depends on the medical evidence. Your Solicitor can only predict the amount when they receive the independent medical report. Your Solicitor will then give you their informed opinion of how much your claim is worth.
We are committed to providing a high quality service to all our clients. When something goes wrong we need you to tell us about it. This will help us improve our standards. Please contact us should you have a complaint.
No, never.
